Our Clients

At Venelle, we're not just transforming the lives of our clients; we're reshaping the way individuals in need of care think about their options.

“Just take the plunge, your life will change.”

“When you're blind, or partially sighted, you don't really think you need help. So it's good to confront it, and then realise that actually these are my limitations. But if someone helps me, I can rise above those limitations, and the world is my Oyster.

Kelly and the Venelle team came along to see how they could help. I wanted to do some swimming, and I wanted to get out and about a bit more. So we go out and visit places, have meals together, do the shopping etc. The whole family are really happy that I'm having a laugh.” – Amanda A

“It’s like swimming in difficult seas and all of a sudden feeling the sand beneath your feet.”

"Navigating the complexities of providing care to a loved one is extremely challenging and worrying for someone inexperienced – as I was. Venelle’s founder, Louise, came highly recommended by a friend. Within minutes of her coming into the house we knew we were in good hands. Her kindness, knowledge and wisdom took away all the stress and uncertainty as she guided us through the maze." – Martin G

“Just a year on, we're seeing such a different person.”

Following a personal loss, one Venelle client had become increasingly isolated - spending more time at home, eating less well and experiencing a decline in his health and mobility. After carefully matching him with one of our Personal Assistants, the focus went far beyond his immediate care needs. Together with his physiotherapy team, they worked on his mobility, confidence and the things he wanted to achieve. A year later, he’s going to the cinema, arranging family dinners, welcoming friends into his home and getting out independently. Most recently, with the support of his PA through Venelle’s travel companionship service, he travelled to Canada to spend a week surrounded by his family and grandchildren - somewhere filled with special family memories. A wonderful example of what can happen when care is built not simply around what someone needs, but around the life they still want to live.
