Careers

We offer luxury home care – and excellent jobs. Focused on helping our clients live well, it’s an ethos that extends to our team, too.

After all, you have to live well to do a job well, and that’s what Venelle is all about – creating a supportive, nurturing environment for both our clients and our colleagues.

You can see our current job opportunities below. Alternatively, if no openings are presently available and you’d like to send us a speculative CV, please do so via the email below.

A career in care. But not as you know it.

At Venelle, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people.

People who are warm. Thoughtful. Emotionally intelligent. People who notice the little things, understand the importance of genuine human connection and want to make a meaningful difference to someone’s life.

Because our approach to care is different, working at Venelle feels different too.

We give our Personal Assistants the time, trust, training and support to build real relationships with the people they care for - creating a career that is every bit as rewarding as the care they provide.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

More than a carer. A Personal Assistant.

We call our carers Personal Assistants for a reason.

The role is about supporting the whole person - their health and wellbeing, certainly, but also their lifestyle, interests, independence and the things that make each day enjoyable.

That could mean preparing a favourite meal, heading out for coffee, accompanying someone to an appointment, taking a walk together or simply spending time talking.

It might also mean finding a way to bring something a client loves to them when they can no longer get out and do it themselves.

No two clients are the same. And no two days are either.

What remains constant is the quality of care we expect and the relationships we create.

Hear from Abbie…

Personal Assistant

After moving to the UK from Australia, Abbie was looking for somewhere she could provide genuinely person-centred care - and feel supported herself.

From helping clients at home to arranging an at-home manicure for someone no longer able to visit the salon, Abbie explains why it's the personal touches, supportive culture and relationships she has built that make working at Venelle so special.

"I couldn't speak more highly of Venelle."

Hear from David…

Personal Assistant

For David, being a Venelle Personal Assistant means having the freedom to really get to know the person you're supporting.

He shares how that can mean anything from providing personal care to heading down to the river for an ice cream and coffee - and why having the time to listen, learn and build a genuine relationship makes such a difference.

"It's about what's most important to the client."

Care built around relationships

Traditional care can sometimes feel transactional. A list of tasks. A short visit. Then on to the next person.

We believe there is a better way.

Our approach is built around consistency and genuine one-to-one relationships. Wherever possible, our Personal Assistants work with a small number of clients, allowing them to understand their routines, preferences, personalities and what really matters to them.

It creates better continuity for our clients.

And a far more rewarding way to work for our Personal Assistants.

We look for the person, not just the CV

Experience and professional knowledge matter. But there are some things we simply can't teach.

Empathy. Kindness. Emotional intelligence. Curiosity. Discretion. The instinct to notice when something isn't quite right - or when a small gesture could make somebody's day.

We're looking for people who care about the finer details and want to build meaningful, trusted relationships with their clients.

People who don't simply want to work in care.

People who want to deliver exceptional care.

Abbie and Heather venelle

Hear from Kelly…

Registered Manager & Director of Care Operations

Kelly explains what we look for in a Venelle Personal Assistant - and why emotional intelligence, attention to detail and the ability to build a genuine relationship matter just as much as experience.

She also shares the importance Venelle places on supporting its team, because when our people feel valued, confident and cared for, they're able to give their very best to our clients.

"You can teach skills. You can't teach empathy and kindness."

Supported from day one

We expect a lot from our people. So we believe they should expect a lot from us in return.

From the moment you join Venelle, you'll receive a thorough induction and exceptional training, alongside ongoing opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills.

But support here goes much further than training.

Our management team knows our Personal Assistants personally. We speak regularly, visit them while they're supporting clients and are available whenever advice or reassurance is needed.

You're trusted to do your job brilliantly.

But you're never expected to do it alone.

Hear from Heather…

Care Manager

Heather works closely with Venelle's Personal Assistants every day - from welcoming new starters and delivering inductions to visiting PAs in clients' homes and providing ongoing support.

Here, she explains why kindness, compassion and patience are at the heart of the role - and why knowing you've made a difference to someone's day is one of its greatest reward

"Our Personal Assistants are at the heart of everything we do."

Life at Venelle

We want Venelle to be somewhere exceptional people want to stay.

That means creating a working environment where you feel valued, supported and part of something - not simply someone filling a rota.

Alongside exceptional training and ongoing development, our Personal Assistants benefit from consistent client relationships, regular contact with the wider Venelle team and a culture that genuinely looks after its people.

We make time to come together too, with regular team socials and opportunities to meet, share experiences and build friendships beyond the working day.

Because looking after our clients starts with looking after the people who care for them.

Grow with Venelle

Venelle is growing, and we're ambitious about the future.

But as we grow, we're determined to protect what makes working here special.

That means continuing to invest in our people, creating opportunities to learn and develop, bringing our team together and ensuring everyone feels part of what we're building.

We're creating a modern approach to home care - combining exceptional clinical standards with lifestyle and concierge support so that our clients can continue living life on their own terms.

And every person who joins us has the opportunity to help shape what comes next.

Moving to the UK?

Some of our team have made the move to the UK from overseas, so we understand that joining a new company can be just one part of a much bigger life change.

We pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming and inclusive team, where new colleagues can quickly feel at home.

As Abbie shares above, having made the move from Australia herself, she immediately felt supported, comfortable and part of the team at Venelle.

Is Venelle for you?

You might already have years of experience in care.

You might be looking for somewhere that gives you more time to care properly.

Or you might simply believe, as we do, that great care should be personal, thoughtful and built around genuine human relationships.

If you're kind, compassionate, professional and take pride in making a difference to somebody's day, we'd love to hear from you.
